Adson's maneuver

A test for the thoracic outlet syndrome. It involves palpating the right or left radial pulse and rotating the patient's head to the left or right while they breathe in. The radial pulse will be absent or greatly reduced if there is a compression of the thoracic outlet. Also called Adson's test or Adson's procedure.
