Gonadal aplasia

congenital absence of essentially all gonadal tissue; the external genitalia and genital ducts are female, but if interstitial cells (of Leydig) are present, the external genitalia are commonly ambiguous and the genital ducts are female.gonadal dysgenesis, gonadal agenesis.
