Spinocervical tract

[TA] a tract composed of axons that originate from laminae III-V and ascend ipsilaterally to the lateral cervical nucleus where they synapse, lateral cervical nucleus neurons project to the contralateral thalamus via the medial lemniscus. SYN: tractus spinocervicalis [TA], spinocervicothalamic tract.
