A genetic condition where an enzyme deficiency (glycerol kinase) results in an accumulation of glycerol in the body as well as it’s excretion through the urine. The infantile form of the condition involves a deficiency of complex glycerol kinase and is associated with a variety of physical and developmental abnormalities.
