Introduction

Chemwatch recognises that to continue to create and sustain long-term value in a rapidly changing world, and managing the risks and opportunities associated with it, a holistic approach to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) is essential.

Chemwatch in Glen Huntly operates a low risk site in terms of most ESG factors but still manages its risks as well as following opportunities that changing market and non-market conditions create.

Environment

Chemwatch is committed to operating in an environmentally responsible manner to reduce our impact on climate change, conserve natural resources and operate in compliance with environmental regulations. Because of the nature of our business, our operations have been assessed to have a relatively low impact on the environment. There are no noise emissions or any groundwater leaks that could adversely affect soil quality. The site is in an urban environment so biodiversity and deforestation are not an issue, as is animal welfare.
