Toluene

SodiuToluene is a clear colourless liquid with a distinctive odour—also known as an aromatic hydrocarbon. It occurs naturally in crude oil and in the tolu tree, and can be produced in the process of making gasoline. Toluene is insoluble in water and its vapours are heavier than air. It is a methylbenzene and is the simplest member of the class toluenes. [1,2]
