Aase syndrome

(ahz) an inherited disorder characterized by anemia, mildly delayed growth, an extra joint in the thumbs, narrow shoulders, and late closure of the fontanelles ; sometimes there are also cleft lip, cleft palate, abnormalities of the retina, and web neck.
