Acinetobacter pneumonia

Acinetobacter pneumonia a sometimes fatal type of bacterial pneumonia seen in immunocompromised patients, caused by infection with Acinetobacter species. It is usually bronchopneumonia, and characteristics include acute onset of dyspnea with fever, productive cough, chest pain, and abscess formation or empyema.
