Antiphospholipid-antibody syndrome

a disorder characterized by the presence of antiphospholipid antibodies in patients with arterial and venous thrombosis, and/or obstetric complications. Antiphospholipid antibodies are a wide and heterogeneous group of immunoglobulins that include, among others, lupus anticoagulants and anticardiolipin antibodies.
