Bolivian hemorrhagic fever (medical condition)

An infectious disease that occurs in Bolivia and is caused by the Machupo virus. Transmission can occur through contact with infected rodent (Calomys callosus) droppings. The incubation period lasts from one to two weeks. See also Bolivian hemorrhagic fever
