Deafness, autosomal recessive nonsyndromic sensorineural 22 (medical condition)

Recessively inherited hearing loss that occurs without any other symptoms - i.e. is not associated with any other condition. Type 22 involves a defect of the otoancorin gene on chromosome 16p12.2. See also Deafness, autosomal recessive 22
