Diabetes and pancreatic exocrine dysfunction (medical condition)
A dominantly inherited form of type II diabetes that occurs in young people (less than 25 years old) and is not insulin-dependent. MODY type 8 is due to a genetic mutation on chromosome 9q34.3. See also MODY syndrome, type VIII
