Diabetes insipidus cranial type (medical condition)
A rare dominantly inherited form of diabetes insipidus. It is caused by the progressive degeneration of a part of the hypothalamus which reduces the production of a hormone called arginine vasopressin. See also Diabetes insipidus primary central
