Diabetes Insipidus, Neurogenic (medical condition)

A disturbed water balance due to a deficiency of vasopressin (antidiuretic) hormone which causes excessive thirst and urination. Causes include autoimmune disease, malignancy, trauma, infection and blood vessel disease. See also Diabetes Insipidus, Neurogenic
