Dyslipoproteinemic corneal dystrophy (medical condition)

A familial disorder involving corneal opacities and low HDL cholesterol levels. It occurs as a result of an enzyme (lecithin:cholesterol acyltransferase) deficiency. See also Fish-eye disease
