a complication of cavitary pulmonary tuberculosis usually resulting from expectoration and swallowing of bacilli that then infect areas of the digestive tract where there is relative stasis or abundant lymphoid tissue; can be caused by ingestion of bovine tubercular organisms in infected milk; now rarely seen.tuberculous enteritis.
