ETS-domain family

a family of transcription factors, characterized by an evolutionally conserved ETS-domain. Transcription factors play an important role in cell development, differentiation, proliferation, apoptosis, and tissue remodeling. Several ETS genes are rearranged in human leukemia and Ewing tumors.
