Based in Helsinki, Finland, its main tasks are to manage the registration process and carry out dossier evaluations. It will also co-ordinate the substance evaluation process and will take most of the decisions resulting from those evaluations. The Agency is also responsible for providing technical guidance and tools for the operation of REACH.
