Familial aortic ectasia syndrome

the concurrence as an autosomal dominant trait of bicuspid aortic valve often with premature calcification, ectasia, and dissection of the aorta and, rarely, coarctation of the aorta. Superficially resembles the Marfan syndrome. SYN: familial aortic ectasia.
