Hypoaldosteronism isolate, secondary (medical condition)

A rare disorder where the kidney tubules fail to remove acids from the blood and into the urine which results in high blood acidity. The disorder is caused by low levels of the aldosterone hormone or the kidneys inability to respond to the hormone. See also Renal tubular acidosis, distal, type 4
