Idiopathic dilation cardiomyopathy (medical condition)

A rare chronic heart muscle condition where one or both heart ventricles are dilated and the heart is unable to contract normally. In idiopathic forms, the condition occurs for no apparent reason. See also Idiopathic dilation cardiomyopathy
