Inborn error of glutamic and aspartate transport (medical condition)

A rare metabolic syndrome involving a defect in the transport of certain amino acids (glutamate, aspartate) and resulting in high levels of dicarboxylic amino acids in the urine. Often no observable symptoms occur. See also Dicarboxylicaminoaciduria
