[TA] branch arising from the circumflex branch of the left coronary artery between the anterior rami (distributed to the left auricle) and the stem of the posterior atrial branches. SYN: ramus atrialis intermedius arteriae coronariae sinistrae [TA], lateral atrial branch of left coronary artery.
