Iodine-131 anti-B1 antibody

A monoclonal antibody directed against a protein (CD20) expressed on the surface of B-lymphocytes and radiolabeled with the radioisotope I 131 with potential antineoplastic activity. Radioimmunotherapy using radiolabeled antibodies delivers radiation directly to neoplastic cells, decreasing the risk for systemic radiotoxicity. (NCI04)
