Irlen-Meares

Irlen-Meares is a learning disability that manifests itself primarily as a difficulty with reading and spelling which may be improved by the use of coloured glasses or overlays. The condition affects about 50% of dyslexics, as well as epileptics, migraine sufferers, and others. It is not curable but significant improvements can be achieved by treatment.
