Late-onset FECD (medical condition)

A rare inherited eye disorder involving degeneration of the epithelial layer of the cornea. In type 2, onset occurs later in life (usually 30-40 years of age) and usually takes about 20 years to affect vision. See also Corneal dystrophy, Fuchs' endothelial, 2
