a lichenoid eruption of papules on the upper body of mucinous edema due to deposit of glycosaminoglycans in the skin and fibroblast proliferation, in the absence of endocrine disease. Monoclonal gammopathy is often present.scleromyxedema. SYN: papular mucinosis.
