Minor salivary glands

[TA] the smaller, largely mucus-secreting exocrine glands of the oral cavity, consisting of the labial, buccal, molar, lingual, and palatine glands; unlike the major salivary glands, the minor salivary glands, secrete continuously. SYN: glandulae salivariae minores [TA].
