Ramon flocculation test

a test formerly widely used to assess the quality of toxoid-based vaccines; to a series of tubes containing a constant amount of toxin, such as diphtheria toxin , antitoxin is added in increasing amounts; when flocculation occurs, it indicates a neutralized mixture of toxin and antitoxin.
