Rieder cell

a myeloblast seen in a type of acute myelogenous leukemia ( leukemia ) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia ; it has a nucleus with wide and deep indentations suggesting lobulation, which may represent asynchronism of nuclear and cytoplasmic maturation. Called also Rieder lymphocyte.
