Tinea imbricata

an eruption consisting of a number of concentric rings of overlapping scales forming papulosquamous patches scattered over the body; it occurs in tropic climates and is caused by the fungus Trichophyton concentricum. SYN: Oriental ringworm, scaly ringworm, Tokelau ringworm.
