[TA] the wall that separates the cochlear duct from the scala tympani; it consists of the osseous spiral lamina and the basilar membrane. SYN: paries tympanicus ductus cochlearis [TA], membrana spiralis*, spiral membrane*, tympanic wall of cochlear duct.
