X-linked lymphoproliferative disease

X-linked lymphoproliferative syndrome an immunodeficiency disorder characterized by defective cellular or humoral immune response to infection with Epstein-Barr virus . Fulminant infectious mononucleosis , fatal B cell malignancies, or hypogammaglobulinemia can result from viral infection. Called also Duncan syndrome and Purtilo syndrome.
