Adult malignant mesothelioma (medical condition)

A rare type of malignant cancer that occurs in the pleura (chest lining) or peritoneum (abdominal lining). The cancer develops in people who have inhaled asbestos fibres. Symptoms tend to occur many years or even decades after the exposure. See also Mesothelioma, adult malignant
