Andersen cardiodysrythmic periodic paralysis (medical condition)

A rare disorder where a genetic mutation causes periods of muscle weakness, heart rhythm abnormalities and various physical development abnormalities. It is believed to be caused by problems with the way the body utilizes potassium. See also Andersen-Tawil syndrome
