Anterior olfactory nucleus

[TA] a nucleus located in the olfactory tract and prominent in microsmatic animals; receives input from the olfactory bulb and projects to the bulb, to other targets of olfactory fibers, and to its contralateral counterpart. SYN: nucleus olfactorius anterior [TA].
