Demodicidosis (medical condition)

A parasitic infection caused by the Demodex mite (Demodex folliculorum and Demodex brevis) which normally live harmlessly in hair follicles especially on the facial area. The mite can cause symptoms in immunocompromised people. See also Demodicidosis
