Diphosphoglycerate mutase deficiency of erythrocyte (medical condition)

A rare inherited condition where a deficiency of an erythrocyte enzyme diphosphoglycerate mutase in red blood cells impairs the ability of red blood cells to deliver oxygen to body tissues that need it.
