A case enclosing electrical equipment and wiring that is designed expressly to prevent (1) a person from accidentally contacting uninsulated live parts, (2) burning or molten materials from contacting adjacent combustible materials or falling onto combustible materials, (3) conductive or combustible materials from dropping onto uninsulated live parts, and (4) mechanical abuse of electrical equipment not designed or approved to withstand the intended normal use without such additional enclosure.
