Fibromuscular dysplasia (medical condition)

A rare disease where the blood vessel walls thicken and harden which reduces blood flow through the arteries and into various organs. The main arteries that may be affected are those in the kidney's and abdomen as well as the carotid artery which caries blood from the heart to the neck. See also Fibromuscular dysplasia of arteries
