Fire Under Control

That point in time when a fire is sufficiently surrounded and quenched so that in the judgment of the commanding officer it no longer threatens destruction of additional property, or in wildland fire, that point in time when a control line is around a fire, any spot fires therefrom, and any interior islands to be saved.
