Forsius-Eriksson syndrome

(for´se-әs er´ik-sәn) an X-linked eye condition formerly thought to be a form of ocular albinism . Symptomatic males show hypoplastic foveas, axial myopia, and protanomaly, and female carriers show slightly defective color discrimination and latent nystagmus, but no mosaic pigment pattern in the fundus. Called also Åland eye disease .
