GK JUV (medical condition)

A genetic condition where an enzyme deficiency (glycerol kinase) results in an accumulation of glycerol in the body as well as it's excretion through the urine. The juvenile form of the condition occurs in chidren and can cause serious complications. See also Hyperglycerolemia, juvenile form
