Globocephalus

A genus of hookworm (subfamily Uncinariinae, family Ancylostomatidae) that consists of about five species, found chiefly in the small intestine of pigs. The species Globocephalus urosubalatus, of worldwide distribution, is a common hookworm of wild and domestic pigs.
