HbCS (medical condition)

A generally mild form of anemia caused by a defect in the hemoglobin which is the part of the blood that carries oxygen to the body tissues. The biggest risk of this condition is the fact that children born to carriers of this and other blood disorders may inherit more severe forms of blood disorders. See also Hemoglobin, constant spring
