Hemochromatosis due to defect in transferrin receptor 2 (medical condition)

A rare genetic disorder where too much iron is absorbed from food and it is stored in various parts of the body which can cause damage. Type 3 has an onset that is between type 1 and type 2 and is inherited recessively. See also Hemochromatosis type 3
