Condition present during the base flood where wave heights are greater than or equal to 3 ft (0.9 m) or where wave run-up elevations exceed 3 ft (0.9 m) above grade. Areas subject to high velocity wave action are designated on the flood insurance rate map or flood hazard map as Zone V, Zone VE, Zone VO, or Zone V1-30.
