Immune serum globulin

a sterile solution of globulins that contains many antibodies normally present in adult human blood; a passive immunizing agent frequently used for prophylaxis against hepatitis A virus and to treat Kawasaki disease, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, and some immunodeficiencies.
