Juxtaglomerular cell tumor

a tumor of juxtaglomerular cell origin usually presenting with symptoms of secondary aldosteronism, including severe diastolic hypertension, which appears to be due to tumor-produced renin. The histologic appearance resembles that of a hemangiopericytoma.
