Medial frontobasal artery

[TA] the first branch of the postcommunicating part (A2 segment) of the anterior cerebral artery (pericallosal artery); it supplies the medial half of the inferior surface of the frontal cortex. SYN: arteria frontobasalis medialis [TA], arteria orbitofrontalis medialis*, medial orbitofrontal artery*, orbital artery.
